Tiffani Ferrier.
Tiff is a HNC 3D Design student who was awarded the Claremont Office Furniture Scholarship in recognition of her dedication and hard work this year. Despite the restrictions in place to comply with Covid19 guidance, Tiff worked hard to produce some excellent projects.
Jade-Lauren Stewart.
Jade is a HNC 3D Design student. She received the Claremont Office Furniture Scholarship in recognition of her hard work this year. Working remotely, Jade created some fantastic projects this year.
The Russell Trust Scholarship
The Russell Trust was set up in the memory of Patrick Russell who died in action during World War II - through the former Tullis Russell paper company, which was based in Glenrothes.
Since being established in 1999 The Russell Trust Scholarship donation has increased over the years and this year saw a record number of students being supported.

We are so proud of our HND 3D Design student Ryan Awdry who put so much effort into his portfolio when applying for his degree place at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee.
During his application process, Ryan’s portfolio was selected by the admissions panel as an exemplar of the high standard of work they would like to see from potential applicants. Ryan’s portfolio will be displayed at future DJCAD Open Days going forward.
We wish Ryan every success with his further studies!

Kirkcaldy Campus Bistro.
Three of our HND 3D Design students were given the opportunity to work together to develop a design for a new bistro space for the Kirkcaldy Campus. Working with stakeholders from the estates team and the culinary & hospitality teams, the students collaborated to create one cohesive final concept which they presented to the panel. Huge well done Nina Weryk, Thomas Nelson & Ryan Awdry - we can’t wait to try out the bistro when building works are complete!
Faculty Student of the Year 2020/21.
We are so delighted that it has just been confirmed that HND 3D Design student Thomas Nelson has just been named as the Faculty Student of the Year 2020/21 for the faculty of Engineering, Science, Technology & Built Environment.
Thomas has worked so hard during his time with us. From day one we always knew he had great ideas but often he struggled to execute his ideas fully. As he has progressed through the course, he has grown & developed his skills to become a confident designer who is now part of a team helping to re-design the bistro space in the Kirkcaldy campus. He is a deserved winner & we wish him every success on his next adventures!
