This year we launched the inaugural @BuiltFife Design Competition. This day long event saw teams from our NC Architecture & Interior Design, HNC 3d Interiors and HND 3d Interiors come together to tackle a secret brief.

Each team was guided by an industry mentor once the brief was launched at 9am and the teams worked hard to produce a solution to present to our panel of judges by the afternoon.

The teams gave it their all and the Carnegie Business Centre was a hive of activity and collaboration throughout the day. The judges had such a tough decision in the end but were blown away by the quality of the work produced by each of the teams in such a short space of time.

Can’t wait til next year to do it all again!

We were so delighted to invite a number of industry mentors and judges to our panel for the day. The experience they brought was invaluable to the students and it was lovely for the lecturers to catch up on what’s happening in the industry too!
